The African Proverb: Each One, Teach One, guides my journey as I dive into this blog. Never one to hold back on sharing life-improving hacks for women and moms. Especially for former corporate professionals like myself or those navigating the stay-at-home mom life.
Becoming a SAHM wasn’t in my life plan. I vividly remember Angelica’s mom from Rugrats, the epitome of the #MomBoss. But that changed when I became a mom myself.
Postpartum anxiety struck after my son’s birth, coinciding with a layoff from my corporate recruiting job in Big Tech. Rushing back to work to support my family financially became my priority. Cooking skills? Non-existent. But making and saving money? That’s my forte.
I knew I wanted a job that respected my identity as a mom, allowing me to prioritize my child without sacrificing my career. I’m all about quality over quantity when it comes to work hours. If my kid needs me, I’m there!
